Feels hard to believe that I published Changing Faces exactly a month ago - a lot has happened since then! I feel very grateful to have been received so warmly and I look forward to bringing everyone the rest of the series. ^-^
My first priority right now is continuing to write New Game Minus #2, still untitled. It will follow up on everything the epilogue of the first book teased, plus introduce a couple of characters I've been looking forward to including for a while.
I also have two other things on my plate: the audiobook version of Changing Faces and a hypothetical dungeon core novel. Not sure when the audiobook will come out, since it will depend on the production schedule of others. The dungeon core novel, if I feel satisfied with the finished novel, would come out between NGM #2 and #3.
With my short term plans shared, I'll hunker down and focus on writing. If you want to be the first to hear about new releases, feel free to join my mailing list. I'd also be very, very grateful to anyone who is willing to leave a review!

New Game Minus #1: Changing Faces
My first book has been released! Changing Faces is the first book of the New Game Minus trilogy. As I described earlier, this is a complete story that forms the first part of an overall arc I pledge I'll finish in reasonable time.

Bloodwraith thought of himself as an effective villain, until a single adventurer destroyed his entire lair. With his last breath, he switched bodies with the adventurer and discovered that his world was built on lies. Alien beings from another dimension were using his world as a game... and now he was one of them.
The problem is, Bloodwraith has no experience being an adventurer. He was a mage, but his new body is only good at hitting things. He relied on undead minions, but now he has no choice but to depend on other people. And worst of all, strange boxes are constantly appearing in his vision, describing the world in unfamiliar, nonsensical terms.
Taking over the world is off the table, because the alien gods might be watching. To survive, Bloodwraith will need to learn the truth about himself and his world. And that means acting like an adventurer, at least for now.

Introduction and Pledge
Hello there! I'm Sarah Lin, a writer who wants to take her shot at the LitRPG genre. This post is partially an introduction, partially a pledge to any potential readers.
Though I would love to write a lot of different books, I have rent to pay. I also know readers have been burned by a lot of unfinished books, abrupt endings, and cliffhangers. So I'm venturing into this with a commitment to finish a satisfying set of stories. Even if only a single person buys a copy of my books, I promise that I'll finish these story arcs for them.
My first novel, Changing Faces, is the beginning of the New Game Minus trilogy. It has a complete story arc, but leaves some broader questions in the air to be resolved by the other two books. While I could potentially tell a huge number of stories with these characters, the trilogy will be a complete story that doesn't leave any unsatisfying loose ends.
Second, I may be writing a set of dungeon core novels - we'll see, I have to finish writing and judge if the result is worth publishing. But if I start, I will definitely finish, and this series would be completely resolved in a trilogy at most. It will be set in the same universe as New Game Minus, but with none of the same characters, so it won't be essential to read both.
These three/six books will be my initial experiment, and I promise that I'll finish them! If you guys like what I write and want more, I'll be potentially around for longer than that. If you enjoy my work, please review, leave comments, and generally let people know. ^-^
