TBS Novella: Teeth in the Dark

I have an unexpected bonus that a few people will be very passionate about: a novella set in my TBS universe! Though I need to pursue the projects that can support my career, I became a writer because I want to follow my passions, so I have managed to find time to write a little something.

It doesn't make sense to try to sell this as an individual work, so it can be found in this Patreon post, which is available to higher tiers or to anyone for a one time purchase of $5. If you are one of those who has been asking for more TBS over the years, I hope you will enjoy it. ^-^

• The novella is a little under 30,000 words.
• It is essentially a single self-contained storyline that would have been a portion of the fourth book, telling a satisfying story (though it doesn't resolve everything).
• It focuses on Slaten and some Bersk children in a location that hadn't been seen before.
• Though it would be easy to pick up if you haven't read in a long time, I don't know how much sense it would make to people not familiar with TBS. This is in no way designed as an entry point; it's a gift for fans.

Hello, everyone! My latest story is, as if this post, entirely free to read on RoyalRoad. This is my attempt to add something to the time loop and magic academy subgenres, and while as usual it's a bit different from my other projects, there's enough overlap that I think many of you may enjoy it.
