What's coming next?

With the third book in my New Game Minus trilogy out, it's a good time to do a post about what you can expect from me in the future.

1) Street Cultivation: I'll continue to post my serial, and once we've completed the story, you'll see the collected form coming out on Amazon. Around that time there will be discussion regarding the future of that universe.

2) NGM Audiobooks: The second audiobook is under production, just behind schedule. The plan is to release all three books with the same narrator, but this is out of my hands.

3) Standalone Novels: Though standalone novels don't sell well, I have three books that I've been inspired to write in the past. Not everyone may be interested in them, but I think they're worth publishing. You'll see these released from me before I get fully invested in a major ongoing project. Sneak preview info about these on Patreon.

4) The Brightest Shadow: This is an epic fantasy series that has been in my mind for a long time. You'll definitely see it released in time, but for now I've just put up a little preview page.

Note:

I'm aiming to do something a little different here, with cultivation and LitRPG elements in a modern setting that has developed around them (so not system apocalypse). The story will have one foot in realism, so don't expect the protagonist to be handed immense power immediately. I'll put a longer note at the end of the first chapter, but the plan is to upload a new chapter every three days until the story is complete.

I've never produced an audiobook before, so I mostly left things to readers and had them vote on all the auditions. Bryan Lamb is a new narrator, but he got the most votes and I think he did a good job. I hope everyone enjoys the book. ^-^

Upcoming Plans

Feels hard to believe that I published Changing Faces exactly a month ago - a lot has happened since then! I feel very grateful to have been received so warmly and I look forward to bringing everyone the rest of the series. ^-^

My first priority right now is continuing to write New Game Minus #2, still untitled. It will follow up on everything the epilogue of the first book teased, plus introduce a couple of characters I've been looking forward to including for a while.

I also have two other things on my plate: the audiobook version of Changing Faces and a hypothetical dungeon core novel. Not sure when the audiobook will come out, since it will depend on the production schedule of others. The dungeon core novel, if I feel satisfied with the finished novel, would come out between NGM #2 and #3.
